You must use QuoteChase lawfully, honestly and only for genuine quoting, invoicing and collection of debts that are genuinely owed to you. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for the content you create and send.
2. Prohibited use
You must not use the Service to:
- Break any law or regulation, or infringe anyone's rights.
- Send false, misleading or fraudulent quotes, invoices or demands, or pursue a debt that is not genuinely owed.
- Harass, threaten, intimidate or abuse any person, including through reminders or messages.
- Upload or transmit unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringing content, or anyone's special category data where it is not needed.
- Send unsolicited marketing or spam through the Service. The chase reminders are for administering genuine debts, not marketing.
- Impersonate another business or person, or misrepresent who a message is from.
- Probe, scan, overload, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its accounts or its public tokens, or scrape data.
- Resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties as a bureau without our written agreement.
3. Email and SMS consent
You must have a lawful basis to contact each Customer by email or SMS and must comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK data protection law. Reminders sent through QuoteChase relate to administering an existing transaction or debt. You must not use the Service to send marketing by SMS or email without the necessary consent, and you must stop contacting a Customer who asks you to.
4. Statutory interest and Letter Before Action tools
The statutory interest calculator and Letter Before Action generator must only be used in good faith for debts genuinely owed to you. They are templates and calculations, not legal advice. You are responsible for checking the figures, deciding whether to send anything, and following a fair and lawful process. Do not use these tools to threaten action you do not intend or are not entitled to take.
5. Consequences and reporting
If you breach this policy we may suspend or terminate your access, remove content, and report unlawful activity to the authorities. To report misuse of QuoteChase, contact support@quotechase.co.uk.
